The hotel had a charming and cozy mountain cabin feel, which made it a delightful place to stay. The decoration was reminiscent of a traditional ambiance, with wooden interiors and warm lighting. The general areas were well-kept and had a pleasant atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. Additionally, the location of the hotel was excellent for senior people like myself. It was only a short 10-minute walk to the bus station and a 15-20 minute walk to the center of town, making it easily accessible for exploring.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be more attentive and helpful. For example, it would have been nice if they offered assistance with carrying luggage up the stairs or at least showed me to my room.

We had a fantastic stay at a hostel in Zakopane called Stara Polana - Pokoje Do Wynajecia. the staff were incredibly helpful and provided us with great information brochures about what to do in Zakopane and Tatra National Park. the location of the hostel was also perfect, as it was within walking distance to major points in the city. the house itself was a beautiful and historical piece of local architecture. cons: Can't think of anything! 😊.

The location was super convenient, just a short walk away from the vibrant Krupówki street, where all the cool shops and restaurants are. We could easily explore the city and have a blast with our friends. The hostel itself had a really cool vibe, with plenty of places to chill and hang out. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were great. it was a perfect spot for a fun-filled vacation with friends!
If there was one thing that could've made our stay even better, it would be having a dedicated party area at the hostel. We were a group of young party-goers and it would have been amazing to have a proper space to let loose and have some late-night fun.

The room we stayed in was absolutely amazing! It had a cozy seating area where we could relax after a tiring day of exploring Zakopane. The modern and sunny apartment also had a bathroom with a refreshing shower. As guests who love comfort and convenience, we were truly satisfied with our stay.
Personally, I found it a bit annoying that some guests didn't clean up after using the kitchen utilities. It would have been great if everyone took responsibility for keeping the kitchen clean.
